Whether depicting the mottled detail of a leaf or the mirrored palette of water, Jill Holland’s artwork uplifts and inspires her patrons and customers.
“My paintings are born from a deep communion with the Holy Spirit. I take inspiration from Scripture and, in large part, from nature. I work layers of deeper meaning into my pieces by seeing with the eyes of my heart to hopefully reveal a little of the Lord’s heart for us.”
Holland’s love of art began when she was small and sitting at her mother’s drawing table who is also an artist. After years of sketching, painting, and journaling, Holland pursued her passion further by majoring in art at Louisiana State University. Then moved by her love for the mountains and sense of adventure, she continued her art study and exploration while living in Montana.
Now as a professional artist and owner of The Good Art Company in Fredericksburg, Texas, Holland has sold hundreds of paintings that reside in private and corporate collections across the country.
Also, she challenges her craft by mixing unconventional media with paint to tell a story. Her subjects range from abstract color studies to dreamlike landscapes and renderings of well-known paintings. She also works with art connoisseurs, designers and decorators on commissioned pieces.
Holland started The Good Art Company as a haven for artisans to offer high quality – yet affordable and accessible – abstract, contemporary and impressionist artwork.
